My IT before the rebuild

My 1977 Yamaha IT 400D before the rebuild...

What a piece...will post new pics of how it is now...
Had the wrong gas tank and everything...

haha yea it cost me a heavy 1000 or more...but its sorta done haha still workin on it. i replaced the piston with an oversized one and bored out the cylinder plus rings the wrist pin bearings and clips bought all new gaskets new carb jets
new throttle cable and clutch cable with new grips and also had the silencer hot tanked to get rid of carbon build up. plus a bought the right gas tank a new gas tank gap and hose and plus a fuel hose the mounts for the gas tank and also silencer packing and spark plugs new tires and im still not done haha...clutch is perfect and trans very smooth ride... now i gotta repaint the plastics and frame and might get new shocks...idk yet...

Yea i'll get to those someday...not sure on how to do them on my own...my bike has a mono shock in the center of the frame hard to get to haha...

its not to hard... take maybe 7 (take the subframe off) bolts out and it should come right out

How do u recharge the shock? im not really sure how to do any of those things...im only good at working on the engines and what not haha,
