I might be wrong but I think Suziki's sytem has no battery. Should not make the bike much havier. Maybe a little because of the aluminum tank?

ive rode alot of quads with efi, basically when you do a few mods you just buy a $30 chip

Im not sure which chip your talking about, I dont follow quads but I would think the jetting would be altered by a power commander or hooked up to a computer or something.

computers are normally 12v...

how does it remember the settings?
if its hard wired into the efi then you can't tune it
it has to have a battery some where
and does it not have a fuel pump?

has a fuel pump, its ran off of something. ? i cant remember. and yes you can tune them just have to have the software to do it. there are some ajdustements you can do but nothing major. you cant just buy a chip unfortunetly you either have to buy the software or take it to the dealer.

It's kinda like a magneto, when you kick it it gets volts then runs off itself.

but what i am saying is that there has to be a battery to store the tuning data...

you computer has a battery and if you remove it you have to reset the time and a bunch of other things
