Check me out...

Pretty small but was wondering if you could give me some pointers on jumping I just started learning to control the bike with brake and throttle, however if I start to nose dive and I give it throttle it never seems to work? Why is this?
MySpaceTV Videos: ridin dirty by &clubs Joeeee &clubs

Also another question, I have a CR125, I have been getting OK at riding a wheelie but I have looped out many times in 4th-5th gear which isnt very fun, so is there a way to find your balancing point?? Thanks.

well you do have to lean back to help the front end go up, giving it gas only works once to while you are in the air, same with the brake, once the tire is spinning fast enough it wont make any difference, or if your tire is stopped it wont matter if you use the brake. and as for wheelies, just practice, no one can really help you with words. it all come down to practice

I thought they were in the same spot in every bike. Well mine is right next to the water pump. I like the orange one for hill climbs.

Anyways back on track, Why doesn't giving it throttle in the air work for me?

it does, only slightly more of it comes from hitting the throttle right befor you go off the jump's lip

once the tire is spinning so fast revving you engine will not help the heavier your tire is and the amount it speed up affects how much it will change your pitch when reving or applying the brakes

Really, when you leave a jump, you usually don't want to be high up in a gear. I always shift up a gear. Obviously not always possible but try to. The slower the tire is spinning when you leave the ramp, the more effect a quick burst of throttle will be in the air. Just be careful, it can be very powerful. I prefer to control the bike with my body. I barely ever touch the gas or brake, unless it is to save a super violent jump. As far as wheelies, that point where you are about to loop out is where you want to be always. How do those 4th and 5th gear crashes treat ya? LOL, I have never lost a wheelie going that fast. Usually once you are up in higher gears they don't have as much effect on causing the bike to loop out. Do you sit or stand usually?

MAN you have no idea, I rode a wheelie on accident like a week ago and it was the first one ever for me so I was like you know what I'm going to practice. So within a weeks time I have looped out atleast 4 times in 4-5th gear. My bike's plastics are still in good condition but my knee and arms tell a different story.
This is what I do, first I get the bike in the middle of 2nd gear i pop the clutch and ease on the gas. And I just power shift the rest of the gears, too hard for me to use clutch I always drop the front end. And while doing all of this I am sitting down. My body position is as follows, I just noticed this but my body gets into a tucked position (almost as if im riding a sport bike) my head comes up near the tripple clamps and I sit about on the middle of the seat. I've tried to stand but the torque of the bike always whips me back when I pop the clutch. I'm not that big of a guy.
