How to hill climb

How to hill climb
Tips on how to do a hill climb. From the start keep your body weight forward. DO NOT SIT DOWN keep your butt a couple inches off of the seat. Don’t stand all the way up. It is very important that you maintain your momentum if you do this while attempting a hill climb you have a better chance of success. Do not let your bike bog so remember to downshift and clutch it. Make sure your rear wheel has traction through the full process. Using these tips you should be able to conquer any hill that may stand in your way. With everything practice makes perfect.

If its not all that steep, just technical, I stand up and lean forward and keep the motor in a low gear with enough throttle to keep it charging forward, but not enought to where i lose traction. if its tall long and steep with very little obstacles i get a good run at it hitting the max in each gear i can, once i hit the hill I down shift very quickly when i need to and keep my weight centered. it seems to work for me.

Between the two I actually preferred climbing with my 250 over my 400
