bikes arent really that hard if you look at it. ive only been working on them for about a year

thats good you dont question your abilities. now just keep working on them. like i always do, work on a friends bike even if it is going to suck just to get that random knowledge.

well..... i have a large amount of wiring on my bike. tps, ckp sensor, in gear sensor, then all the electrical connections from the stator. and with a failure rate of 30% or more on most cdi boxes(if you want to call them that) things can get a bit tricky to pinpoint. however, it is nothing like my car. i used up to full roles of electrical tape re-wrapping all the wire bundles. o so many.

well, should have said its pretty basic compared to the systems found in a car.

a car is just the same thing as a dirtbike really, cept all of the parts are bigger and there is more than one cylinder. i dont really like to work on cars though, to many cramped spaces for me

then why is it that I can get a pretty good grasp on how my bike's systems work but when I pop the hood on my jeep it has me thinking "huh?"

well you have to dive into it really. a car has a bunch of coverings and crap you have to get through befor you sart seeing the stuff you do on your bike
