have you ridden a wr tigmaster, this is not an attack against you wr, but they are heavy, and hard as hell to manuever, and the power was there, but the delivery was in no way suited for racing. no offense wr, they make awesome trail bikes, but they would make sad excuses for race bikes

tj, WR's wr is more like a yz250f. he has done all the tricks. just a straight stretch race wr would win but on the track or in the woods it would come down to the rider.

something tells me that the one you rode was stock, bone stock.
stock wr's have highly restrictive exhaust, throttle stops that wont let you go past 3/4 throttle, restricted intake, to meet emissions testing.
as far as not being race bikes......... this fella earned that #

funny thing is, they are done winning yet, I forget the guys name but he piloted a wr to a championship last year.

I did not see it sorry
but yes, my bike is more like a yzf with a big tank, wide ratio tranny, lights, 18" rear wheel, and 96 db.

i like my power fine, its just hard to get to. handling, my suspension is pimped out, and i can take turns way faster than most people that i ride with. i dont think my bike is that outdated. sure newer bikes are nicer to ride, but my bike can be just as good
