so im taking the top end off of my my rm 250, i disonnect everything like i should (i think) well i pull the cylinder off and there is coolant sitting in the bottom end like in the crank case...have i screwed somehting up royally? or is it supposed to there!?

Nah, it probably just leaked in there from the cylinder. No big deal, just wash it out with some two stroke blend gas. Don't let it sit.

No, he got it in the upper crankcase when he pulled the cylinder. It just leaked down unlike TJ.

probably out of the cylinder when you pulled it.
