Break In Procedure?

the break in procedure in my manual says to mix it 14:1, ride it in low gears at moderate speed, pull the plug, it should be black, then to ride it getting into higher gears, pull the plug, and it should be tan. does that sound right?

It is the way they used to have you do it. You can do it that way or the way I say in my procedure. I think I say to run it rich as well. However, my way is a better break in way. I am not trying to sound ****y but it is the tried and true method.

HOLY SHIT!!! i knew my bike was missing alot of lower end due to the other 125's i had been riding, but i had never really got on them, and wow! my bike pulls insanely hard, not to brag, but i think alot harder than the other 125's ive been on. somethings up here, i just dont know what, its running pefect, not a touch lean, but i literally tapped the throttle, before compressing the forks a tad, not in the powerband or anything, and the front end just went wayyy up.

yeah, we ended up using a spring hone, is that ok tig? anyways as soon as i get it 100% ready to go with 32:1 and what not, vids will be up. that scares me also, if it felt extremely impressive on 14:1, 32:1 will probably get me hurt lol! oh, and btw, its ALOT harder to kick lol!
