So Am I screwed or what?

so, i thought my cylinder wasn't nikasil plated, some guy on tt said all bikes 86 and up were nikasil plated. so, me not knowing that, honed my cylinder with a spring hone

now its back together and running fine, but from what they said (the nikasil will chip off in the cylinder) im screwed. now what do i do? btw. when we honed it, there was a crosshatch pattern like there was supposed to be.

if it's running fine, i guess you're not screwed
i'd check it after about a tank

its running fine i know that, but the damage wont be immediate if it does happen. the nikasil will start to chip off into the cylinder

i would say if it did cross hatch then it was not plated...
but i am not sure

if it does ship off then your bearing will get chewed up

i never rebuilt mine.....and if they suck that bad why ask them questions
