Weird Shaking

so, i am looking for a professional opinion on this problem so i turned to here. i do not have an extensive knowledge of suspension problems and need some help diagnosing my problems. ok so first off, i get a violent shaking of the bars if i go over 60ish. now i know this can be corrected by a steering stabilizer, but why does my bike do it but no one else really has trouble? now i know your first question is, "is sag set right?" yes it is. that problem is super annoying along with my next accompanying problem. sometimes while traveling over 60ish also, the rear end will hop side to side about 2ft. this is no good when i am going fast. this problem does not coincide with the first problem, they have never influenced each other. i have played with every suspension setting on the bike with no luck. i would enjoy some help, thanks.

my wr does this also.
You had your forks revalved havent you?
Have you been bleeding off the pressure after riding?
for the rear have the shock pressure checked.

The hop you are getting from the rear could actually be caused by the front. Sometimes when you get up to speed you actually get a front end wobble and (You usually do not even notice it you just automatically adjust for it). The problem is that you send the wobble to the rear because of the corrections you are making in the steering. This is much more noticable in the sand or soft dirt. My YZ got a wicked wobble from the rear last time we went out. I got it up to about 75 or so and the rear got pretty scary, (I actually had to get off the throttle a little )but I found that if I got the front tire in a good track (small rut from a wider tire) it would smooth right out and I actually got my YZ up to about 85 or so . My buddy has a steering stabilizer on his bike and he said his used to do the same thing until he got the stbalizer on.

Bottom line: It's time for a stabalizer.
Scott makes a pretty good one but I like RTT ( http://www.rttmotorsports.com/suzuki_order_page.htm ) better. A little pricey but you get what you pay for.

1. Does it happen when you are on the throttle or when you are off the throttle?
2. If it happens when you are off (and this could be just backing off a little) then the weight would transfer to the front and then upset the balance of the bike.
3. If this happens when you're on the throttle it could be the forks are too stiff and are deflecting or wandering since they will be skipping around on the terrain.
4. Sand. You need much stiffer forks since the bike will want to dive much more than on harder terrain.

5. The frame geometry of that particular bike would lend it self to headshake more than other bikes; hence why it turns so well.

Try using stiffer forks springs (even just in one leg).
-stiffen up the compression on the forks.
- use MORE sag in the rear (let the bike squat more to take weight off the forks).
- try speeding up the rebound on the forks; or consequently, try slowing the rebound down.
