Make sure to change your suspension fluid

Most folks don't realize but changing your suspension can make a huge difference in how your suspension feels and reacts. Over time the fluid will break down and lose its lubricisity and its dampening affects. While doing this always clean everything thoroughly prior to replenishing the fluid.
Always use good quality fluid, there are many brands that make good fluid, just make sure to use the correct viscosity.

The suspension fluid should be replaced at or around 20 hrs, or less, depending on what the quality of the oil that you are using. I'm a big fan of synthetic suspension oil.

20 hours of mx? because trail riding has got to be easier on the fluid than a mx track, sir

You can go as long as you want! It's totally up to you how long you want to ride on oil that will eventually become contaminated. If you want your suspension to operate at it's peak performance you will need to change the fluid more often.
MX, yes it can be harder on the suspension, but then so is fast trail riding. If you are racing whether it's MX or not, you should change it more frequantly. I suppose if my grandma was riding she wouldn't need to change it very often!
