hi all the need 2 make a driver for up side down forks . 1 pice of pipin & tape .cut the pipe in 3 place it around the lower fork & faster with the tape & away u go

cost me a £1 better than payin £33 for one from shops.plus i was gettin told differant size's from shops

Another good home-made-driver is to use duct tape. Doesn't that stuff work for just about everything!

No, really, once you have the seal in place you can wrap dict tape on the slider to a heigth that is comes close the the thickness of the seal but not quite. Leave a few mm's so that it will slide under the upper tube. You will then use the slider and ram and with a couple of well placed thrusts, the seal will be set in place . You then use a razor knife to cut the tape off of the slider (with care I might add), then use some carb cleaner or brake cleaner to clean off the residue left by the tape. Works like a charm and it doesn't cost much and it won't blemish the slider.

make sure you apply oil to the fork tube before doing this though.

Apply oil before doing what? There is no need to apply oil before performing my duct tape method.

"If it won't move use WD-40 and if it won't stay put use Duct Tape!"

i thought you were saying to make a seal driver out of duct tape??? if so, were you saying to wrap it on the fork tube?
