In the both the moto races at the WMX opener last weekend, Jessica Patterson, the most successful female racer in today’s world, secured second spot finishing in both of them. Thus, she registered an overall first position finishing in the opening match of the Women’s Motocross Championship. After the win, Patterson said, “I’m very happy about my performance tonight. The race track was not that easy to race on and I initially had some tough time to get used to it. However, I’m happy that I performed well and lived up to the expectations of my new team. Hope to keep the momentum going and deliver same sort of thing next weekend too.”
In moto-I, Patterson had a good start to her race but unfortunately, she made some mistakes which compelled her to lose several positions and she finally finished second in it. In moto-II, she again had an awesome start and was able to gain the lead in the race. But she had a crash in the mid-way of the race which made her lose the lead. She did well to recover and bounced back to deliver another second spot finishing. She acquired an overall first position in the race.
