Ive never had the chance to ride one through the woods, I based that based on the ones Ive ridden at tracks, fun on the track, not sure about their capability in the tight stuff.

look, do you have a point, or are you simply trying to convince people your almighty and I dont deserve my moderator spot?

nope.
im just giving you some realization that alot of the things you say can be proven wrong.
you do not seem to know this, seeing as in how hard it was to show you that a modern 2 stroke uses up/gets burned up much less oil than a modern 4 stroke.
im simply the only one who took the time

if you want to be a little bitch about it and count everything, 700ccs falls 246ccs short of 1 quart. so now thats like, close to 1.73 quarts including what goes into the engine if you drastically overshoot it still, very close to the 1.6 quarts that go into your bike that is supposively "much, much cleaner" than mine. so if that was all burned, it still would be extremely close to how much is burned after being in your bike.
so 1.5 is more than 1.73? this isnt even taking into account that a 2stroke uses more fuel than a 4stroke does.

yes it is, the 2 gallons is where i take it into account, to your four stroke 1 gallon
i know they can use more in 5 hours, which is why it always doubles out the same.
and i just said modern. modern.
your bike is an 01
and even if there is some bike out there that still has only 1 port, i will put Most bikes into the equation

your bike is an 01
and the current yamaha engine is pretty much identical, I could put a 09 head, cylinder, piston on my bike and it would be exactly the same, actually, I could just put the 09 piston in, but Id be bumping up the compression because they did some minor changes to the head.

and your bike is a 94............

so, the 2 stroke engine hasnt changed much. i still have all the ports a new one does.
and it doesnt matter anyways, i was right!! my math was off the first time!
you see, if i used 2 gallons of gas in 5 hours (reasonable for chadwick) at a 40:1 ratio, that would of course be 16 ounces to 1 gallon, 2 gallons = 32 ouces.
and 32 ounces comes out to something like .94 liters
so there you go. i use just under 1 quart while you use 1.6

either has the current wr and yzf engine from mine
but there is the tranny fluid, I use fluid because people use diffrent lubricants for this, and if you get on it hard, at chadwick, its wise to change it, which still means you are at the same level, if not higher than I am, and if my oil still has the carmel color to it, I let it be, kinda depends on how hard I work my clutch.
theres a lot of variables, if you want to throw in fuel, the 4t is going to be more efficent, this is providing both bikes are jetted right
the guy that I bought my wr from, had a son who rode a yz125, was actually quite good in mx, ran 32:1.
He told us that after 2 hours of riding, the yz needed more fuel, the wr, was still at 7/8ths, this will easily off set any oil, now true, this isnt the orginal topic, but do you see how this shows the waste of fuel that comes with the 2stroke motor? thats kinda why direct injection is such a good deal, it will save the 2stroke, and of course, there are going to be hard core thumper guys, that hold out, because they like their bikes.

nope, even if i change my transmission fluid (which i also calculated incorrectly) 700 ml is only .7 liters. thats dead on. and thats playing by your rules, and not putting into perspective that most four strokes now do have seperate ports.
so i take back my previous statement, that my bike uses more oil than yours.
we use the exact same amount, unless you want to count on a dry build

I dont have the manual for your bike so Ill take your word for it.
its really close, but fuel offsets that, as does you needing top ends and clutches more than I do, the nature of the beast....
