| C Rider | i'll remember that. is there an easy way to take the hub apart. getting the first one open was a fluke.... it happened while i was pulling the axle out. also i took another look under the gas tank, the dull red that i thought was the original color was actually just faded. it was originally cherry red. im debating between the general lee orange and the riginal cherry red... which do you think will look better?

| Pro Mototips Member | normally they just slip out... but you brake pads are probably rusted to the drum if you can spray some penetrating lube in on the pads best thing to do would be to put constant pressure on the hub(pulling it out) and tapping on the hub lightly maybe knocking on the pads directly (your more than likely going to need new ones) if you can put the axel back in and just move it around it may free it up other wise you may have to put it back on the bike and try to turn the wheel (last resort)

| Pro Mototips Member | how nice of a paint job do you want? something you can be proud of? i would go with the paint gun and some type of booth sand it and if you cant get some spots sand blast it but if they dip it in acid you may not need to sand it i would paint it next to last though

| C Rider | what pieces? i need to paint the whole frame and gas tank.and whatever else i am supposed to paint.... i only ask becuase my uncle next door has a compressor and paint gun. but i dont want to keep bugging him for stuff. he's already gonna weld the frame for me....

| Pro Mototips Member | ah... well i prefer the paint gun over the paint bomb but thats me if you have limited experience i would go with the bomb make thin coats and put 2 or 3 coats on there priming and sanding it will make the finish look a lot better if he has the gun and can paint well maybe you could ask him to paint it for you once you get the primer on there and sanded
