so turtle if you stacked the plates so they would make it a flat groove you would be putting a steel plate in first instead of a friction plate, no good, and you would have way too much freeplay so they might shatter. you either have to use the old basket or get a new one, but dont change the order of the plates

sprocket on the crank looks like it is twisted out of time, how would i find out if it is or not?

cylinder?
as in piston cylinder? its only .01 over... somehow, not sure how that is possible
2.75590551 is what is is supposed to be am i am measuring it at 2.761 (dial caliper)
rings where very thin... obviously worn greatly
