haha awesome... im puttin 77 on it cause its a 1977 mine is one year older than your dads.. and man u don't even wanna know what i did to it to get it running again...lets just say...piston...FRIED!

where did you get a new piston? us it owners have to keep each other informed ya know

I got it off of ebay...had to over size it and i got some other parts from a yamaha shop near me and online as well.. at Bikebandit.com and i used plastic spray paint with 2 coats...and then A protective seal coat to stop it from chipping and then on the engine i used hi temp spray paint that withstands 1200 degrees...took me a week to get it all finished
