oil change

I know the manual says to change the oil every 2 hrs of riding but if I am just trail riding my bike how long can I go before a oil change?

yes, i dont know if you ride the bike every day or what but these specs are basically right. i would suggest changing the oil every 5-6 at max like wr was saying. this can be a pain if you ride a lot but lots of bad things will happen if you dont. do you ride a yz250f or wr?

Dont take long to change your oil at all. You can get away with changing it after a weekend of riding. It easy to do so just bust it out

its not even expensive. i run maxima synblend and changes every other ride and i can afford it.

breather hole, im not sure what your talking about? if you explain i can help you fix the problem, but to my knowledge i didnt know you had to remove any threaded item from the breather vent.

do you have a viewing window to see your oil level? if so, there are marks on it and the oil should be in between those marks. either way, it should be written on your bike somewhere on one of the case halves.

or when in doubt you could always check that handy dandy book that comes with the bike, should say YZ250F manual
