nm, i really did think we were talking of the 250f. since we had an earlier thread of it, i figured he mustve just went with the name of the bike he saw there. i guess not, he mustve googled or went to the yamaha website.

but seriously, if i were you, i would steer clear of the quads, sure they are fun for a month or two, and they even seem funner, but they will eventually get old. i was going to buy one until i rode my brother's alot. it got real old. however, they are fun on a muddy day with bald tires

the 450 class of quads offers incredible options and even suspension is plush and supple. However, you will notice a gross lack of power no matter what 450 quad you pick up. And don't think the bigger the faster. Raptor 660Rs tie a 450 in a drag and are completely destroyed by the 450 on the track. Raptor 700s They on the other hand are a bit faster but not worth the price or weight.

i've been been riding on 4 wheels for 5+years, it hasn't gotten boring yet. does anyone know how much the ktm450 is or is it like 9000?
i think i'm buying used wheter i get 4 wheels or 2
