y new keepers? kinda random thing to replace. they dont take any wear, always in the same place, or do u mean something else.

the valve keepers there cheap and i would hate for it to fly apart at 11,200 rpm that would defintly cause some damage

i would add u if i knew yur sn for aim. as far as the keepers, they dont get worn and nothing causes them just to fly apart. you are talking about the keepers, not the retainers right? for keepers to actually get out of the retainers a lot has to happen such as your cam shafts falling off, then your lifters would have to somehow fly out, and then u would somehow have to apply load to the retainers instead of the valve stem, but yur cam already fell off so something else would have to do this. keep in mind if yur cam shaft already fell off yur engine has already seized up real nice. seriously there is no way that keepers can get into yur engine. they cant fall out the bottom of the retainers because they are tappered and to fall out of the top the lifter needs to come off, but the cam is in the way. idk, seems like a good idea until u really think about how much other stuff would have to break for them to break. the only thing that could happen and this is not realistic is that you have the tightest springs in the world and they somehow snap the valve shut so hard the retainer cant accelerate that fast and the valve stem powers through the retainer and keepers. that cant even happen though!!!
